The funding round
Cairo-based real estate technology company Aqar Exit has raised $200,000 in a funding round announced on 21 October 2026. The investment was backed by Ayman Mamdouh Abbas and Intro Holding Group.
The round values the Egyptian business at $2 million. As part of the investment, Abbas acquired a 10% stake in the company.
Transferring instalment contracts
Aqar Exit operates an online platform that connects property sellers who want to exit instalment-based property contracts with buyers looking to purchase those specific units. The system allows buyers to acquire properties at their original contract prices without paying resale premiums.
Rather than managing primary real estate sales, the company facilitates the transfer of existing contracts. This process enables sellers to recover the money they have already paid while giving new buyers access to the original contract terms.
Use of proceeds and future plans
The company plans to use the $200,000 to launch new products and expand its operations into markets across the Gulf region.
The startup also stated that the capital will support its ongoing expansion ahead of a larger $5 million funding round planned for 2027.
Company leadership
Aqar Exit was founded by Mahmoud Ammar, who serves as the company's chairman.
Investor Ayman Mamdouh Abbas holds the position of Executive Chairman at Intro Holding Group.
