Funding details and investors
WarpWare announced on 19 October 2026 that it raised $1.2 million in pre-seed funding. The investment was secured using simple agreements for future equity (SAFEs).
The round was primarily angel-funded, with participation from Rockies Venture Club, Cowtown Angels, and Aggie Angel Network. Two space-focused early-stage funds, Vesper Alpha and Marlboro Lane Ventures, also joined the round alongside individual angel investors.
Automating flight software development
WarpWare provides an AI-enabled engineering platform designed for spacecraft flight software. The software combines flight software, guidance, navigation, and control, as well as simulation and testing environments into a unified product.
The startup uses agentic workflows to automate parts of the development process for space missions, aiming to replace traditional ground-up development approaches.
Expansion plans
The company will use the new capital to expand its agentic engineering tools across a wider selection of commercial and government space markets.
WarpWare also plans to build out its sales and marketing operations to help scale its customer base.
Company background
Based in Colorado, United States, WarpWare was founded by chief executive officer Alex Reynolds and chief operating officer Mickey Mathew. The founders started the company following their shared experience working at Sierra Space.
