Talky Labs raises €1.5 million pre-seed round for AI accounting platform

Madrid-based Talky Labs has secured €1.5 million in pre-seed funding to expand its team, build out its product and upgrade its technical infrastructure.

The funding round

Talky Labs announced a €1.5 million pre-seed investment round on 30 October 2026. The investment was closed in September 2026.

The round saw participation from venture capital firms HelloWorld, Silence VC, Motive Force and Aera Capital. Angel investors including Sebastián Gunningham, Remitly CEO Paul Golbaum (who is also CEO of Lightbase and former CTO of Seedtag), and Javier Morenés also backed the company.

Automating accounting workflows

Founded in 2025, Talky Labs is a Spanish startup based in Madrid that builds AI-powered agents to automate financial operations and accounting workflows. The software learns internal company practices and decision rules, allowing finance teams to handle repetitive and complex accounting tasks.

The company's system trains on a firm's historical records and staff expertise to identify how previous transactions were resolved, extract accounting criteria and process new operations. It reads invoices, suggests accounting entries, reviews tax details and reconciles bank transactions before recording data in the client's enterprise resource planning system. When encountering an unfamiliar scenario, the platform routes the query to the correct employee.

According to the startup, its technology processes 86% to 93% of accounting documents without human intervention.

Growth plans and operations

Talky Labs will use the capital to support team expansion, advance product development and improve its technical infrastructure. Recruitment is a core priority for the company as it seeks to broaden its reach among large enterprise clients and financial services providers handling heavy transaction volumes.

Operating with nine employees, the startup reports that it has processed more than 1.8 million documents and over €2 billion in client expenditure through its platform.

The business was co-founded by CEO Jorge Beamonte and COO Maximilian Letón.
