Zorit raises ₹27 Cr following rebrand from Bijnis for B2B quick commerce

Delhi-based Zorit, formerly known as Bijnis, has raised ₹27 Cr in a funding round led by Sparrow Capital to strengthen its B2B quick commerce model.

Funding details

Delhi-based B2B e-commerce startup Zorit, formerly known as Bijnis, announced on 28 October 2026 that it raised ₹27 Cr in a fresh funding round.

The round was led by Sparrow Capital, with participation from existing investors Info Edge, WaterBridge Ventures, and Better Capital. Angel investors including Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal, the founders of Shiprocket, Xpressbees CEO Mohit Sardana, and Sarthak Misra of SoftBank also participated.

As Bijnis, the startup had previously raised over $43 Mn, including a $30 Mn funding round, before running into operational and financial trouble by 2023. Info Edge had written off its entire ₹76.6 Cr investment in Bijnis in 2023 due to cash burn and fundraising uncertainty.

Operations and rebranding

Founded in 2015 by Siddharth Vij, Chaitanya Rathi, Siddharth Rastogi, and Sachin Chauhan, the company originally built a digital marketplace connecting manufacturers with retailers. It shifted to an inventory-led B2B quick-commerce model in late 2024 and subsequently rebranded to Zorit.

The platform connects offline neighbourhood retailers with locally stocked dark stores, enabling them to source inventory with delivery in as little as 60 minutes. This compares with seven-to-eight-day delivery cycles under its previous online model and 24 to 48 hours from local wholesale traders.

Growth and use of capital

Zorit plans to use the new funds to strengthen its quick commerce infrastructure, expand its product assortment, and deepen retailer engagement across its operating markets.

The company currently operates 12 dark stores across 12 cities and claims an annualised sales figure of ₹120 Cr. It stated that nearly half of its stores have reached break-even, including the cost of liquidating unsold inventory.

Zorit reported that monthly ordering frequency has grown fivefold compared with its previous model, and retailer retention past six months has quadrupled. Co-founder and CEO Siddharth Vij noted that nearly 60% of participating retailers had never used an online B2B sourcing platform before.
